About Us
While I was born and raised in Celina, Ohio and am a truly devoted Cleveland Browns fan, I relocated to Leavenworth, Kansas in 2011 and have began to also cheer for the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas has brought me all sorts of adventures as well as love....and now it has brought me the newest love of my life...TIE DYE...of course. Just don’t tell my wife!
My journey with Tie Dye began in August of 2019 when I stumbled upon a post that someone had shared in a group I am a member of and I was awestruck. It was referred to as a peacock fold. Yes, it looked amazingly like a peacock when he spreads his feathers to catch the attention of the hen. I instantly wanted to learn how to make awesome things like the guy whose post I stumbled across. I jumped into the world of tie dye with both feet and completely immersed myself in learning all that I could. Reading, watching videos, eating and sleeping all things tie dye. I still have a lot to learn, as one never truly stops learning, but I am having a blast doing what I love!
This journey has been all about learning the art form and all the wonderful things that I can make with that knowledge. If someone would have told me a year ago that I would be referring to myself as a Tie Dye artist, I would have laughed hysterically and told them how crazy they were....but here I am...a tie dye artist!
